About us

At Medicine Hat Montessori Preschool you will find educators full of enthusiasm, love, and dedication to the teaching of young children. They understand that learning occurs through hands-on interactions in their prepared environment. 

The educators in the classroom show love, care, and respect towards each unique child, always putting the safety, supervision, and well-being of each child in our care as a top priority. They link the child and the environment as they guide and introduce materials based on the observations of each child’s individual abilities, needs, and interests. By maintaining a consistent routine and organization of the classroom, the educators model a sense of calmness and security as the child takes on new challenges. 

Our teaching team is compromised of professional, experienced, and dedicated Montessori and Early Childhood Education teachers with many years of experience in the classroom. All staff members have ECE certificates, First Aid and CPR certification and valid Police and Vulnerable Child checks, several staff have Montessori Teaching certifications as well.
